Outdoor lounge chairs are usually placed on the porch of houses, thus, their designation as porch chairs. The sight of these pieces of outdoor furniture as the visitor or the household member goes into the house is a truly welcoming sight.
Some chairs are for occasional seating that speaks more about the look than the comfort. Others chairs, such as dining table chairs, are often more about function than style. Then there are recliners and wingback chairs which are comfortable and stylish too. But whatever type of chair you are looking for, some features should be taken care for the most proper seating. These are; style, comfort, shape and purpose and one chair that fulfil all these areas is the Lounge Chair.
For centuries now the chaise lounge chair has been a symbol of elegance in homes nowadays and even way back to the elite families of old Europe. Although it was believed to have originated from Egypt and then brought into art by the Greeks whose artworks depict Greek gods and other elite reclined in chaise lounges, it has gained more popularity and sense of elegance in the Post-Revolution France where it got its name which means "a long chair."
The two lounge chairs were always placed together, next to the window in room for a purpose- to be the place in the house where the couple can give each other the right company. Every evening, after the end of a busy day at work, we make sure we sit on those chairs and talk to each other, not about the work but ourselves, and we do that every day.
